Godwin stood out on the balcony looking over the courtyard then the city watching the people in the courtyard walk in groups. The guards on patrol then the city, the sound of life coming from the city existed Godwin so much that his body just wanted to jump from the balcony and climb over the walls. His adventure side never really died when he became king it just became more dangerous. A messenger boy walked into King and Queen's room to the balcony. "Hello my King" said the messenger boy and Godwin just sighed, "Phil I told you just call me Godwin when no one is around, I don't mind and chill I just need you to do a message for me". Phil relaxed and leaned on the Balcony looking in the same direction as Godwin.
"Getting that feeling again" said Phil smiling a him, "Yea Phil I am, anyway" Godwin turned to look at Phil "I want you to send a message to Danielle, sorry Queen Danielle and give her a message saying that her husband wants to see her right away, he misses her and would like her company for the day" as Godwin finished Phil was writing everything down then looked at Godwin, "Is that everything Godwin", "Yes Phil that is all". Phil was off out of the room to deliver the message while Godwin turned to look out to the city again having a feeling of joy but worry and he hated having to sorry.
'Why must I have this worry, nothing is happening, well that is a lie something always happens. Some thief has to steal, some killer has to kill. I really just want to be a hero and get the bad guys but I guess that is just me acting like a kid' Godwin thought to himself more then turned to look at the door hoping for Danielle to walk in with that beautiful face and warm smile that just makes his heart go crazy.

-- Danielle was sitting in the cozy drawing room which was occupied by herself and her ladies in waiting. They were busy embroidering and singing and chatting. They only did very lady like things. They were ladies after all. She was getting ready to change threads when a messenger knocked on the wooden door and peeked his head in. "Come in." Danielle said, grinning wildly. She knew it had to be a message from her husband. Sure enough, Phillip told her that she was being called upon by her husband, who wanted to spend the day with her. Maybe she could have another discussion about having a child. If he was in the right mood of course. She didn't want to ruin their day by bringing up a possibly dangerous topic.
-- Their footsteps were the only sounds echoing through the hallway. The ladies in waiting had been excused to do what they wished. She followed the messenger to her husband's chambers. Danielle's heart began to race; she always got this feeling when she was going to see her husband. Her stomach always did little flips and flops. Phil led her to the grand doorway to the kind's chambers. "Thank you." Danielle told the messenger as she continued to walk past him and into the chamber.
-- It was a warm and welcoming place. She loved sharing his chambers. Of course she had her own, but it was rarely used. Only when her husband was terribly busy and then she stayed in her own. And she always visited them in the morning so her maid could do her hair and help her dress. "Hello my love." Danielle called to her husband, smiling. She crossed onto the balcony. The warm air and sunshine warmed her hair and face. There was enough of a breeze that she wasn't suffocated under her heavy dress. She came up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist and planted a kiss on the back of his neck. "I have missed you terribly. Promise we will never go that long without seeing or being with each other." Danielle mumbled as she buried her face into his strong back.

The warmth of Danielle against Godwin's body still sent chills down his spine, he could feel but it happened so much that he could with stand it. "I am willing to keep that promise my Queen, you are wondering why I sent, well yes I wanted your company but I am in desire of a adventure" Godwin had excitement all over his face but knew it would only be on his face for a short time because Danielle would not allow it. No one but Danielle could order Godwin about and get away with it.
"I know I know what your going to say, no Godwin you can't, it is too dangerous" said Godwin putting on a high pitch voice knowing that won't get Godwin brownie points so he quickly kept quiet. If Danielle could see the want and need in his eyes to do this adventure but also see that he could never do it on his own, once he reached outside he could want back in to see his Queen, his Wife, his other half more than anything. "I knew to do something awesome, crazy or I will go crazy".
Godwin leaned on the balcony sighing putting his head down, "I am sick and tired of doing king stuff, writing this, reading this, signing this and that. I need a holiday, something that won't involve a servant but involves you". Godwin got to his feet quickly and rushed to the Danielle and gave her a passionate kiss until he needed air. "I needed that" Godwin just smiled at Danielle wanting more but waited to see what her reaction was. His heart was going crazy, head feeling light.
Maybe it was him spending to much time in his room doing nothing or just looking out at the city wondering what is going on down there. Nothing has happened, Godwin never liked it when it was too quiet in the city.

-- Danielle listened to her husband as he spoke. She loved listening to his deep voice. Whenever he said something, everyone was instantly captivated. Godwin always wanted to go on adventures, and it was her duty to keep him grounded and try to talk him out of anything too daring or adventurous. Sometimes he forgot how important he was. "Do you think that's such a good idea? With the beast out there and everything." Danielle hated to take away the excitement he was feeling right now, but to put it honestly, the people couldn't afford to lose him as their king. He just couldn't die. Not only for her sake, but for the kingdom's sake.
-- She chuckled when he did his impersonation of her, but kept quiet, knowing what usually happened when he made fun of her. "Why don't we just go for a quick ride or something, or a walk around the grounds." Danielle suggested, knowing it wouldn't be enough of an adventure for him. It would be for her, but not for her wild husband. He really lived for adventure and doing things like that. She would much rather just sit outside and admire the day, but Godwin was a busy sort of man that always had to be on the move or doing something. She didn't blame him for he was cooped up in his study all day.
-- Before she could form another thought, he kissed her passionately. Danielle loved his kisses. She hugged him tightly and buried her face in his chest, then looked up and kissed him softly again. "Can't we just stay together and just talk. I just want to relax with you." She said, smiling happily up at him, knowing he would say yes. Godwin had never been able to say no to her.
