LAEGHTON has a sister named Wren Rae, who would now be twenty-five. She is a very intelligent, kind-hearted girl with whom Laeghton was very close. She visited him often after he moved to Avonderre, and was the only woman he allowed in his study excepting his wife (who he's now divorced). She enjoys philosophy and wrote daily letters to her brother (who she calls Laegh) when she was in Solrayan Court. Problem is, Wren Rae ran away from the Solrayan Court two years after Laeghton moved to Avonderre. She was betrothed but everyone thought she was excited, for that was how she'd acted. Solraya and Avonderre looked for her for years, but after long searches, assumed her dead in the woods. However, she was not. She's alive. You can choose where she's been and if she's still the innocent one she used to be. But Laeghton has been heartbroken for a long time and prays to God for closure daily.
